WHIRLIGIG & WEATHER VANE FESTIVAL
September 15-16, 2012
Shelburne, NS

The 11th Annual Whirligig Festival is held on Shelburne’s Historic Dock Street.  Explore and be amused by the vast array of whirligigs and weather vanes on display.  $1500 worth of prizes will be awarded in different catergories.  This festival was chosen as the BEST festival in Nova Scotia in 2007! Fun for young and old alike!

LIGHTS ALONG THE SHORE

This three day event celebrates the lights and lighthouses of the South Shore of Nova Scotia.

September 15th - For Friends & Family - Bon Portage Lighthouse,ShagHarbour— (10am-3pm)

Lighthouse boat tour leaving fromProspectWharfat 10am & returning at 3pm. Bring your own lunch, water and lifejacket. Cost: $15.00pp. Contact (902) 637-2185 to make reservations in advance, which is mandatory.

September 16th - For Friends & Family - Trip to McNutt’s Island to see Cape Roseway Lighthouse.  cost $25.00 pp.

Leaving at 9:30am & returning between 3-4:00pm. Pack a lunch and drinks for the day. For more information contact 875-2331. Need reservations in advance.
