Shelburne County is one of the most active places in Nova Scotia when it comes to arts & entertainment. We have a very active Arts Centre with a vast line-up of various events suitable for all age groups. We are host to many local variety shows, or you can enjoy some toe tapping music in some of our local pubs and eateries. Shelburne County is also home to a variety of specialized artists who will wow you with their talent! OSPREY ARTS CENTRE – Shelburne, NS
The Osprey Arts Centre houses the Osprey Theatre and the Coastline Gallery. Open year round, the Osprey exhibits visual art and presents popular and classical music, live theatre, a film series, summer arts camps for kids and a literary festival and book launches.
The Arts Centre also rents its space to community groups and private concerns for public and private functions such as weddings, meetings, conferences and lectures.

The Osprey Arts Centre in Shelburne, Nova Scotia has started screening films on a brand new cinema projection system.

SHELBURNE COUNTY ARTS COUNCIL - Shelburne, NS
The Arts Council presents several programs of arts and
entertainment, including ArtsAlive!, a series of 5-10 high-quality music, dance, literature and performance events; Select Cinema, a 10-month series of first-run Canadian and international films,artTALKS, a series of lectures on arts, culture and community. Many of the Arts Council’s events take place at the Osprey Arts Centre.
